Yellow Springs: Handsome Brown

Handsome, indeed. This gent pours a deep, dark brown with a frothy golden head, then opens with a sweet molasses nose. Its rich, roasty malt results in delicious coffee and chocolate notes, with just enough sugary caramel to balance its bitter bones. At 5.5 percent ABV and more reminiscent of a stout than the standard brown, we’ll be snagging this one again over the winter to enjoy fireside.
