Off the Vine: An Evening Pairing of Food and Wine

Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens presents Off the Vine: An Evening Pairing of Food and Wine from 6-9 pm on Friday, July 22, with reservations required by July 15.

Guest parking and admissions have been moved to the Great Meadow to assure easy access to the event. Guests will receive a souvenir tasting glass with champagne stations near the entrance, and then have the opportunity to enjoy samples of more than three dozen varieties of wine at stations located throughout the historic gardens.

Wine pours will be complemented by tapas-style appetizers by area caterers, including Nosh Creative Catering, Spice Catering Co., A Taste of Excellence, Todaro’s, and Village Catering Company. Cheese and dessert samples will be provided by Yellow House Cheese, and Tiffany’s Bakery, respectively.

Local musicians who are providing music include Azure Strings, The BeSides, Found Sounds, and John Markovic.

The Manor House with the seasonal exhibit, “Entertaining: You’re Invited,” is open for self-guided tours until 8 pm. A retail wine pop-up shop will be open during the event to purchase bottles of wines featured at Off the Vine.

Tickets may be purchased online at stanhywet.org for $75 per person. Guests must be 21 & over and the deadline for reservations is July 15.
