Pretty copper/salmon color. Mellow nose of fresh strawberries and mulberries with spiced cinnamon apples on the finish. Light to medium body with a velvety mouthfeel.

 

Red Wine – Ohio

M Cellars Pinot Noir Reserve, 2017 (Grand River Valley); $43.09

Brilliant light ruby color. Dusty cherries with undertones of black licorice on the nose. Strawberry preserves, cinnamon notes and dark chocolate shavings on the finish. Elegant on the palate with some firm tannins in the finish.

Markko Vineyard Select Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, 2016 (Lake Erie); $45.00

A medium-bodied Cabernet that is more Bordeaux in style with a bit of tobacco leaf, pepper and earthiness on the nose. Dark fruits and cocoa nibs on finish. Its firm backbone of acidity would make it a nice companion for dinner.
