It’s tequila time! Get a jump on spring by cranking up the heat, squeezing some limes and breaking out the margarita pitcher well before Cinco de Mayo. It will brighten the dregs of winter and put you in a festive state of mind – guaranteed. Give these tequilas a try:
Tres Agave Tequila Añejo
There’s plenty to enjoy here. The nose is fruity with citrus and vanilla aromas. We loved the smooth, rich flavor, with its toasty notes and nutty overtones. Tastes more expensive than it is.
80 proof; $32.95
Tattoo Tequila Blanco
This certified organic tequila has a subtle, delicate pear aroma and assertive agave flavor over herbal notes.
80 proof; $37.95
Riazul Tequila Plata
Starts with a clean agave aroma and a hint of sweet lemon that moves to a smooth mouth feel and notes of clove and anise.
80 proof; $46.95
