The Long Drink Debuts in Ohio

Long Drinks originated in Helsinki, Finland in 1952 when the government created the beverage to supply the crowds of people during the Summer Olympics in Helsinki. Since then, it has become the national drink of the small Nordic country.

Now, for the first time, Long Drinks have been made available in the U.S. by the next generation of Finns who want Americans to enjoy the refreshing and unique beverage.

Finnish founders, Ere Partanen, Mikael Taipale, and Sakari Manninen teamed up with American entrepreneur, Evan Burns, to launch the brand in 2018.

Long Drink is an entirely new category of alcohol in the U.S. It has been met with incredible reception by American consumers and received accolades across the spirits world. Unlike malt seltzers made with fermented sugar, Long Drink is made with real liquor that is smooth, thirst-quenching, and doesn’t leave you with that bloated feeling. Premium distilled alcohol meets a citrusy natural grapefruit flavor in a convenient RTD can.

Distributed by the Superior Beverage Group, The Long Drink has now made its debut across Ohio and is widely available at chains including Buehler’s, Heinen’s and Giant Eagle, and on-premise locations such as Winking Lizard and selected Buffalo Wild Wings locations.

Traditional – The crisp citrus taste in a blue can that started it all.

Zero – 0 sugar, 0 carbs, 99 calories, same unique taste.

Strong – Citrus soda with an even bigger kick at 8.5%.

Cranberry – The second most popular flavor in Finland.
