Sommelier-led Wine Class: How to Taste and Talk About Wine

Shopping for wine in a grocery or making a selection in a restaurant can be overwhelming and intimidating. Finding the perfect wine begins with expressing the characteristics that most appeal to you. Through a special sensory exercise, followed by a wine tasting, this course explores the key components of wine. Learn the language of wine – what we mean by acid, body, tannin, sweetness and flavors/aromas – and how these attributes manifest themselves in a selection of six different wines. Each wine features a specific cheese pairing / small bite, crackers, etc. Taught by David Kusz, WSET® Certified Sommelier and MySomm® Wine Educator.
