Grappa-Spiked Lemonade

Recipes: Debbie Snook

Wine Commentary: Gary Twining

The zero-waste concept has been going strong for more than 800 years with grappa, the brandy made from grape skins, seeds and stems left over from winemaking. The end product varies widely, from harsh to delicate, but either will make your lemonade pop with vibrant flavor. Grappa also marries well with coffee, chocolate, lavender, or fruit flavors. Find the brandy at ohlq.com.

  • 2 ounces grappa
  • 6 ounces lemonade
  • 1 ounce simple sugar syrup
  • Well-filtered tap water
  • Ice
