This fairly new grape varietal is a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Norton, yielding a black as night dry red with tart cherry and berry forward, medium tannins and a lively mid-palate. Pair these attributes with a soft oakey finish, and you have a winner, best paired with pork medallions or pasta with red sauce. $1 samples – $20/bottle.
We are also releasing our 2022 Courante (Black Currant Dessert Wine). Think “American Cassis”.
