Forgotten Tales of the Last Gypsy Blender, Series 2 Volume 1

A creamy head tops this cloudy ginger-colored beer that’s inspired by the whisky sour and made with smoked malts. A sweet, bourbon vanilla scent hits you first, followed by yeastiness and juicy stone fruits. On the palate, a pronounced smokiness, caramel sweetness of bourbon and ripe cherry do conjure up memories of its cocktail muse. All that sweetness is balanced by citrusy hops and a lemony sour finish that comes in at 7 percent ABV. This interesting beer was created in partnership with Kansas City chef Celina Tio.
