Canned Cocktails by Cutwater Spirits

Cutwater Spirits is bringing canned cocktails to the forefront. What began as the spirits arm of Ballast Point Brewing and Spirits has since rebranded as a company separate from the brewery. Cutwater Spirits makes heavily awarded rum, vodka, gin, whiskey, mixers, and combines them to make ready-to-enjoy canned cocktails. Their new home is a 50,000 square foot world-class production facility in San Diego where their distillers can tap into their curiosity and creativity, build on tradition, all the while with their minds wide open to the unconventional. The Cutwater crew is committed to bringing quality, ingenuity and integrity to the world of spirits.

From their history in the brewing world, the convenience of a can was the perfect evolution for cocktails. Great cocktails start with great spirits, and each of the spirits in Cutwater’s canned cocktails is made with premium ingredients. Though it doesn’t stop there, all of the mixers such as their award-winning Mild and Spicy Bloody Mary mixes are also made in-house at their in-house food processing facility – and yes, that does mean that you can get a perfect Bloody Mary straight from the can.

Currently, the line includes 12 different varieties, ranging from their Gin and Tonic featuring grapefruit and cucumber to their light and refreshing Vodka Soda line. All but their Whiskey-based canned cocktails are gluten-free as well, and all the cans feature all-natural flavors – nothing artificial.  So whether you are looking for the convenience of a cocktail without the work, or are looking for something to enjoy on your next adventure where no glass is allowed – Cutwater Spirits has brought a real spirited cocktail to a can near you.

    1. You will need to contact Cutwater for information about their ingredients. It would probably be easier and quicker to message them with your question through their Facebook or Instagram pages since ingredients do not seem to be listed on their website (nor do they have contact info on their website):
